Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 September 2026
This policy explains how Code-X ("Code-X", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit code-x.io, fill in one of our forms (including forms in our Facebook and Instagram ads), book a call with us or talk to us by email or message. Code-X is part of the Sourcex Holdings group and is based in Lebanon.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Code-X is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. For any question or request about your data, contact us at info@code-x.io or +961 302 5330.
2. What we collect
- What you give us: your name, work email, phone number, company, job title, country, and your answers to the questions in our forms, booking page or messages.
- Our conversations with you: emails, messages and meeting notes, when you contact us or we work together.
- How you use our website: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and how you arrived at the site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 7).
- From advertising platforms: when you submit a lead form in a Facebook or Instagram ad, Meta sends us the details you entered in that form.
- Business contact details from public sources: for business-to-business outreach, we may collect work contact details that companies publish themselves, such as on their website or business listings.
We don't ask for sensitive personal data (such as health, religion or financial account data) and ask you not to send it to us.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, book and hold calls, and send you the information you asked for.
- To prepare proposals and deliver the services you buy from us.
- To keep a record of our relationship with you in our customer database.
- To send you relevant business emails about our services. Every email tells you how to stop them; reply "no" or write to info@code-x.io and we stop.
- To measure and improve our website and our advertising.
- To keep our systems secure and to meet our legal obligations.
Legal grounds: we use your data because you asked us to (for example, when you submit a form or book a call), to take steps toward or perform a contract with you, for our legitimate business interests (such as business-to-business outreach and improving our services, always balanced against your rights), with your consent where the law requires it, and to comply with the law.
4. Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers who work for us, under contracts that require them to protect it: Google (email, calendar, analytics), Meta (Facebook and Instagram ads and lead forms), our hosting providers, and the email and messaging services we use to contact you.
- Companies in the Sourcex Holdings group, when your enquiry is best handled by one of them.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.
- A buyer or successor, if our business or part of it is reorganised, sold or merged, under the same protections.
5. International transfers
Our team and some of our service providers are outside the country you live in, so your data may be stored or processed in Lebanon, the European Union, the United States or other countries. When we transfer data, we use providers with recognised safeguards and protect it as this policy describes.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries and leads that don't become clients: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted or anonymised.
- Clients: for the length of our relationship, and afterwards for as long as the law requires us to keep business and accounting records.
- Website analytics: according to the retention settings of our analytics tools, 14 months at most.
- If you ask us to stop contacting you, we keep only a short record of that request so we don't contact you again.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the laws of Lebanon, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the European Union, you may have the right to: ask what data we hold about you and get a copy; correct it; have it deleted; object to or restrict how we use it, including for marketing; withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent; and complain to your data protection authority.
To use any of these rights, write to info@code-x.io. We reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity first.
9. Security
We protect personal data with access controls, encrypted connections and limited access for our team. No system is completely secure, so if we learn of a breach that affects you, we tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
10. Children
Our services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. For significant changes, we'll tell our clients directly.
